Linocuts "Women", 70X50
The project “Women“ is presenting a number of famous and ordinary Lithuanian female portraits, which elegantly illustrate women’s characters and the significance of their features. The prints started in 2009.
Cycle “Women“ opens the historical, political, creative and intelligent individuals who were just giddy girls, but today have become, famous and beautiful women. They are simply wives, business women, mothers or grannies who cherish their lives and families.
Here the portraits of persons I really like. This project is reflecting the difference between the past image of a woman and the present one.
